Hello,
Is it possible to use in the same dashboard d 'streaming' data (coming from a push dataset) and other 'regular' sources?
I'd like to have a push dataset, with 'real-time' data, to populate certain visuals, and at the same time the rest of reports be informed with data coming from a 'normal' or 'traditional' dataset (with data refreshed regularly).
Is this scenario even possible?
Thanks

Hello @Anonymous ,
so far this was not possible.
When you used a live/push dataset, it's an own data model on its own. So you can't combine it with other sources.
With the new composite data model (New composite models (sqlbi.com)) it is possible to add new data to an existing dataset. I didn't try it, but I think it should also be possible for live/push datasets.
Be aware that the new composite model is in preview, so there might be bugs and you have to activate it in Power BI Desktop.
As far as i red from MS documentation it's not possible to use Streaming datasource in a composite model
(see limitation sections )
