Cloud connection not working for Google Sheets

Hi,

I have noticed that my data is not refreshing or updating when I click on power BI service.

Spoiler
  • Data source error: Scheduled refresh is disabled because at least one data source is missing credentials. To start the refresh again, go to this dataset's settings page and enter credentials for all data sources. Then reactivate scheduled refresh.

The data origin is a Google Sheet that I own with my personal account (different from the professional Microsoft account that I use for Power BI). Accordingly, just in case of a problem with permissions, I checked them and confirmed that my professional account had been added as an editor, which should be enough (I cannot transfer ownership because it is not a Google account).

In the Power BI service, I have checked the settings of the Dataser and noticed that the Data Source credentials are greyed and that all the content of the refresh section is also greyed. In the Gateway and Cloud connections, I added in the Cloud connections section a new connection. I have configured it as follows:

1. Cloud (no other option here)

2. Name "XXXX"

Google Sheet URL. Here I have tried with the link that my Google sheet provides (i.e., the same that I used as a connector when I created the report in Power BI Desktop)

3. Authentication Google Account (Login with my personal account)

4. Privacy level: None (But I have tried the other without a better result). This privacy level is always the same that I set up in Power BI Desktop "Data Source Settings"

I have also noticed that if I create a new Gateway connection in the cloud connection it does not allow me to press the Apply button.

I add an image to support the case:

Error PBI.png

Any idea to resolve this issue and allow me to connect and refresh my data?

Many thanks in advance.
