I connect to company Power BI datasets (2) from my desktop and everything had been displaying fine in Service last week.
I logged into the Service today and i now receive this error message for each dataset connection - can anyone help???
Connections still work fine in desktop - very strange (to me)
We have no on-prem or other gateways that we maintain - just the connections to published pbi datasets.
The total error message (and thank you in advance):
Processing error: There is no available gateway.

OK i figured it out (sortof). The report is connected direct query to a pbi dataset. that works fine.
If I add a local table to the report and create relationships between a column on the local table AND the pbi external dataset, I receive that error above on the Service (not desktop). Very interesting. Does anyone have a recommended reading list for combining the use of links to pbi datasets in the Service and also using local tables in a report?

Apparently I'm stupid. I cant have a composite model with pbi datasets and imported tables....
