Click on different areas of a picture to be redirected to report

I have uploaded a map in power bi as an image. My idea was to superimpose a few cards to that image, denoting different areas of the map (e.g. area 1, 2, 3). The purpose was to create a dashboard and be able to click on the different cards representing areas of the map, to be redirected to a specific report for that area.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work. It looks like once I pin the image with the different cards superimposed to a dashboard, the whole thing becomes one individual visual, and I cannot click on the different areas. Can you help me? Are there other ways to achieve what I'm trying to do?

Thanks

Hi @andre_kauber,

As you know, pinning the image to a dashboard will make the whole thing become one individual visual, it only allowes users to add one custom URL that points to one specific report page. Currently, we are unable to change this behaviour.

Besides, what you need is a Drill-through action so that it can jump to another another report page via clicking an element on current report. However, there is no such a functionality to do that yet in Power BI desktop. Product team is actively working on this feature. Users will be able to configure a page to work as a drillthrough target for one or more fields. Reference: Drill to a report page

So, unfortunately, your requirement cannot be achieved now.

Thanks a lot for your exhaustive reply. Hope the feature will be available soon, it would be quite handy to be able to drill-through.
