Chiclet slicer does not work under PowerBi Embedded, working fine in desktop and service
Hello All,
We have distributed reports for a numebr of years now that are consumed both within the PowerBi Embedded API and within the PowerBI Service.
Only recently have we found that the Chicklet Slicer we have always had in these reports has stopped working when consumed with PowerBI Embded. They function as per normal within the PowerBi Service online or the PowerBI Desktop.
I have attempted to add the visual to the Orgnisational Visuals in the PowerBI Admin but it has no impact.
It is version 2.2.1.0 of the Chiclet slicer.
Should be easy enough to replicate.
Use it on any report, open it inside PBI Desktop and it works, open it in the PowerbI Service online and it works, open in PowerBI Embedded and it no longer functions. This is only as of recently.
There is nothing wrong with the report as its worked for years.
thanks

Hi shaunwilks,
Thanks for reaching MS fabric community support.
I tried reproducing your issue and found that the embedded report is working fine for me without any issues.
Could you try removing the Chiclet Slicer visual completely and then reinstalling it from the AppSource? This will ensure that you get the latest version of the visual. Let me know if the issue persists!

I have attempted that.
Opened PBI Desktop, removed the Visual.
Opened the "Get more Visuals" option and selected it from the Shop.
Checked it works in PowerBi Desktop - Tick
Published to the PBI Service and open it from https://app.powerbi.com/ Tick
Open the Report from PowerBI Embeded in the API and it fails.
