Chart in PowerBI Paginated Report visual gets cached/reused

Hello! I have a complex report that incorporates a paginated report visual; when initially loading, it gets the right data and all displays correctly. One of the parameters for the paginated report is a faculty name, which users select via a slicer. After exporting a report for one faculty, they can select a different faculty via the slicer and click Apply Changes to update the paginated report visual. That works for the entire report, except for one chart at the top of the paginated report, which carries over from the previous time it was run! Using Ctrl-F5 to refresh the page fixes the issue, but then it occurs again for the next faculty selected. Has anyone else experienced something similar? Any ideas for a fix? I've tried dozens of changes and simplifications to the parameters, as well as simplifying the data model and turning caching for the underlying dataset on/off. I also tried using filters in the righthand panel instead of the slicers, in case the issue might be related to the slicer, but nothing changed the way this chart behaves.

When the cached/incorrect chart is appearing in the report, I also noticed that the Export option is unavailable/greyed out. When I use Ctrl-F5 to refresh and the chart displays correctly, the Export option is active and working. When I run the paginated report directly, whether from the desktop version or in the service, I do not encounter this error after selecting a different faculty. I also don't get the error in the paginated report visual when using PowerBI desktop. It only occurs in the paginated report visual within my live PowerBI report when accessing it via the service and via our app. Thanks for any help!
