Changing source from excel file to Semantic

Hi... I have a pbix file using an imported excel file. I want now use the same data but from a semantic report - is there any way of swapping over without having to re-map the same fields in my visuals to the semantic source ?

    Hi NickWright 

    Are you referring Semantic Model? You have excel as a source and want to change it to semantic model? If yes then create a new report and connect to "Power BI Semantic Model" and then copy and paste the visuals from your other file where excel data is used.

    Hi NickWright ,

    You create the play excel report and then publish it to the service, subsequently the data source connects to the power bi semantic model
