We need to migrate our on-premise data gateway server to a new server. The new server has a temporary name and will be renamed after the migration.
What is the impact to the new on-premise data gateway device name, the cluster and associated schedules if the server name is changed from "temp server name" to "new server name".

@pwillinger Never done that but that should not matter to the gateway.
Thank you @Greg_Deckler
Another thing about migrations. Found the following in an old post from 2018, is it still true that you have to use the original account from the installation of the original gateway? That account has been lost to time.

And one other thing. The Cluster name is the same name of the original server/Gateway that will be decommissioned after migration. How is the cluster and cluster name impacted by a migration?
@pwillinger Any account designated as a gateway installer should work to install the gateway. What you will need to join the cluster is the cluster key that was entered when installing the gateway for the first time. Can't tell you how many customers I have seen where they lose that and then it causes them all kinds of misery.
