Changing my workspace and dataflow name
- Anonymous3 years ago
Hi Nazdac911 ,
When you connect to a Dataflow from Power BI desktop, the connection utilises the Dataflow’s unique ID not name. So changing the name of a dataflow does not affect the data model.
For workspace and dataflow names, you can parameterize them for easy management.
You can refer to the following documents that may be helpful to you:
Pimp the dataflows connector in Power BI – Data – Marc (data-marc.com)
parameters-dataflows-power-bi-service-power-query-powerbi (p3adaptive.com)
Refer to this post, please note that an error may occur if you want to change the column name of a dataflow.
