Changing Scorecard Status

I am new to this forum and new to Scorecards. I have just created my first Scorecard. I have populated Goals, sub-goals, sub-sub-goals, etc. I was happy with the Status labels, however after I had built out my Scorecard, I experimented by renaming "Not Started" status to somebody's name, say "Bill". I realised that by doing this, it was not going to be a solution that I was hoping for, so I changed the Status back to "Not Started". All of the Status using this label unfortunately been chaged to "Bill" and I had to change all of them back manually. In my Status setting, there is no sign of "Bill" but every time I create a new Goal or Sub-goal, it defaults to using "Bill" as the status. Could some please offer a solution please? Thanks 🙂

Hi @AmandaMW

This happens because the underlying ID for that status rule got cached with the name "Bill" in your browser's session storage, even though you changed the label text back in the settings. To fix this permanently, go to your scorecard settings, open the status configuration pane, delete the broken "Not Started" status rule entirely, save the scorecard, and then re-create a brand new status rule named "Not Started" from scratch. Once you save the new rule, clear your browser's cache or refresh the page, and the new goals will stop defaulting to the old name.
