Changing Datasource login credentials on Power BI Service Dataset

Hi, 

 

I understand we ahve Rest API to change Datasource Parameters. Has anyone succesfully managed  to change Data source login credentials using Rest API for Azure SQL DW ? Can you please share the how to steps ? thanks

    Hi, can you explain more what you are trying to do? It seems like you want to change the conections settings with the Power Bi Rest API for a dataset connected to Azurel DW (Synapse). I might be wrong and I want to check that.

    The Paramater thing you said it's for getting them. You might be looking for this if you want to configure dataset settings:
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/power-bi/datasets/setalldatasetconnections

    Consider that you can set conections in service manually.
