Change server name in gateway connection

We currently have hundreds of dataflows that each extract a table from an on prem SQL server via a gateway (I know, we are moving to Fabric and will use copy data en mass with a single connection but...

    Hello mikesmall 

     

    Currently, it is not possible to change the server name in an existing Power BI gateway connection directly, whether through the Power BI Service UI or APIs. The server name field in the gateway’s data source settings is locked once the connection is created, and any modifications to this field require creating a new data source connection.

     

    The only option is to Create a New Data Source with the FQDN
