Change microsoft domain

Hi everybody,

 

The company where i work for is bought by another company.

We are know in a fase where the data will be migrated.

 

I see in the BI admin portal in the new domain the workspaces from the old domain.

Can i use this to create workspaces in the new domain so the reports and datasets will be available in the new domain?

 

Still looking for what the best way is too migrate BI related stuff.

    Hi Anonymous ,

     

    This would be best done with a manual process.  You will need to have either one userid in both tenants or you will have to have two userids where you use one to get the files to your staging location and then the other userid where you have created the new workspaces and other settings and the publish to the new tenant.

      i thought so i hope there was a better way.

      i have two userids.

      The thing is i cant create the same workspaces anymore because the names already exists in the secundaire n domain.

      Well i will change the names & look for some smart powerscripts that can help me with this migrations.
