Change data source for Paginated reports connected to SSAS on Prem

Hello,

i've got few  Paginated reports connected to SSAS on Prem that are published to Power BI service.

i would like to modify the data source for these paginated reports so it uses a different gateway and point it to a different server and ssas database.

could you please let me know if is it possible to do in Web UI, or maybe some other way.

Hi Andriy! 👋

🔸 No, not directly in the Web UI for Paginated Reports.

For paginated reports, the connection string is embedded inside the RDL file.
Power BI Service allows you to rebind datasets for standard reports, but for Paginated Reports, you must edit the RDL if you want to change the server/database.
