Change data set and update app after some internal error with the old data set

Hi there,   I have a data set that won't update anymore due to some internal error. I published a new version of it, and that one updates fine. I have several reports connected to the old data set,...

But then it creates a new report with the same name, it will not replace the existing one.

Hi Lennart_Wallden ,

Please open the original report in Power BI Desktop, then change the data source to the new PBI Dataset, then save the report and publish it to Power BI Service, the same name report in the Power BI Service Workspace will replace with the new data source report.

    Thanks for your reply.

    That is exactly what I have been doing. Did it again, look at the following pictures.

    And since the first one is part of an app that is spread throughout the company, it is a big problem.
