Change URL of JSON service in PBI

I have published a pbix to PBI Online with several JSON data sources (anonymous webapis) and later changed the URLs to the service.

When updating data on PowerBI Desktop I get the refreshed data from the updated URLs, but when publishing the updated PBIX to PBI Online it still using the old URLs to the services.

How can I change the urls that the PBI Online use to refresh the data?

Hi @tsolbjor

What I would suggest doing, is to change the URL Sources to be parameters.

Then once you upload your PBIX file if a url need to be changed you could just change the parameter in the Power BI Service?

I tried that, but I had to actually change any of the parameters to have the service to pick up the parameterized value - if I used only the default values it used the old url.

Glad it's working
