Change Excel filename or location

    Hi PowerBirocks,

     

    I have tested it on my local environment, for the excel datasource which stored in onedrive, we cannot overwrite the existing Excel file with the updated one, otherwise, the disahboard won't be refreshed. Similar, we cannot change the file name or change the location of the Excel file to another folder in OneDrive.

Hi PowerBirocks,

Thanks v-caliao-msft. I have done the same test for a smaller file and the results are the same as yours. It would be nice if we have option to point PowerBI to the new filename/location though!
