Change Color of padding in App

Hi all,

I loaded a report with a black background into a PBI App with a black theme, but the color is not black for the padding around the report. Any suggestions on how I can fix this?

Many thanks!

Thanks for your comment. I ended up opening a ticket with Microsoft.

These are the steps to resolve my issue:

1) The white/gray areas are called the "Wallpaper". The color of the wallpaper is set in Power BI Desktop via the wallpaper setting in the property pane.

2) In order to achieve a single background, you then need to change the transparency slider in the "Page background" card to 100%. This will make the page background transparent and allow for the color of the wallpaper to show through and the page will be completely black.

Hi @Anonymous ,

I am pretty sure that is something that can't be changed.  To confirm that you might open a ticket with Microsoft about that.  In the meantime, if you select the "fit to width" option (top of screen drop down) it should eliminate that padding.
