Change App Workspace Icon color

I'm trying to change the icon of my App Workspace, but I'm not able to get this done. I've seen this post: My Workspace icon, Color associated with Workspace however my app workspace gives the following message when I try to change the group icon via the Office 365 admin portal:

"You can’t upload a photo for this user because they don’t have a mailbox. Only internal users who have an Exchange Online license assigned can display a photo."

At least I want to be able to change the color, if I can add a photo that would be great too.

For now my production App Workspace has a bright pink icon which is not great. Is it possible to change this besides creating an entire new app workspace?

Grijn It would appear that the modification of that is tied directly to the Exchange Online license. Even accessing the group in the O365 admin portal prompts you to have that license in order to add a picture.

I was able to upload and replace the icon in the O365 admin portal under groups - and we don't have an exchange license.  Perhaps Microsoft has changed their policy on it.  Someone at your company has access to O365 admin portal if you don't based on that is how the Power BI licenses are managed.  Really nice to finally have an icon for that image versus the default pink circle for our main shared workspace.
