Hi PowerBI support,
Seems like the new updates pushed for PowerBI service has done damage to all of our image used in cards,
Also referring to this ticket opened https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Service/Card-New-Issue-After-Lastest-Power-BI-Update/m-p/4...
Suggested that we need to change the visual to make the image bigger, but this is also problematic to us
1) We have more that 30 reports that needed to change
2) Seems like the problem doesnt reflect inside PowerBI desktop, which make us hard to estimate on how much new margin needed to added or modified to make the image the correct position and size
3) We cant change the visual itself on the powerbi service since we are using git integration
Hopefully that you can provide other alternative to solve this issue, or all of our user will complain on why the report is in this state

Hi @Kei88,
The recent Power BI Service update has introduced a platform defect impacting card visuals with images from data sources. While these visuals display correctly in Power BI Desktop, they become distorted, cropped, or misaligned in the Service, confirming this is not a design or modelling issue. Enlarging the card visual is not a viable solution for most organisations due to the scale of required changes and limitations in Git-integrated workspaces. The recommended action is to wait for Microsoft’s fix, rather than redesigning reports. In the meantime, users can monitor the official support thread, submit support tickets if on Pro or Premium capacity, and consider using table or matrix visuals with image URLs as a temporary workaround if images are essential.

Thank you.
Hi @Kei88,
Microsoft has acknowledged this as a platform defect from the latest Power BI Service update, and a fix is currently in progress. However, there is no official ETA for rollout yet. The update is expected to be deployed through a regular service patch rather than waiting for the next monthly release, so the resolution should be delivered soon once the internal validation is completed. The best way to track progress is through the official support thread or a support ticket if your workspace is on Pro or Premium capacity, as Microsoft will update timelines there as soon as they are confirmed.

Hi @Kei88,
thanks for the update. Waiting for the platform fix is the most practical approach at this point, and proactively informing your users is a good step to avoid confusion. Since the issue is confirmed to be caused by the recent Power BI Service update, applying large-scale layout changes now may introduce more rework later once the fix is deployed, so it makes sense to patch only the most frequently used reports for the time being
Thank you.
Is there any estimation when the fix will be rolled out?

I see, then we will wait for fix from Microsoft side, in the meanwhile, we will inform users about this problem and also patch some report that widely used by users
