Card (New) Visualisation issues in Power BI Service

Hi everyone,

I hope you can help me.
I have this card (new) visualisation in Power BI desktop and upon publishing the report to Power BI Service, I have been informed that some users are unable to see the Variance %, while other users have no issue with this - using the same browser version, up to date: either Microsoft Edge or Google Crome likewise using the same filters.
e.g.

In Power BI Service the % Variance is not shown for some users as per below:.

If anyone had this issue and has found a solution, please let me know.
Much appreciated

Thank you

There is a workaround while we wait on Microsoft to fix the issue using Show Blank as conditional function.

Thank you very much @v-tangjie-msft for taking your time to reply. We have tried all the options (we have cleared the cashes, signed out, signed in again, etc and still it doesn't work). The user who is unable to see the data, is an Workspace Admin like me and RLS is not applied in the semantic model.
Same browser version, up to date, it's very very strange. Next step is to raise a ticket to PowerBI Help Desk...
I will come back here if I have further updates and if I manage somehow to sort out this issue.
Thank you for your support.

I'm having the same issue as well. Tried in different browsers etc. but it's not making a difference.

Power BI Desktop:

Power BI Service:

If I go to edit within PBI Service, it just shows that nothing is assigned under the 'Details' section:

If I try to add the same measure that works in Power BI Desktop via Power BI Service it just breaks the visual so unable to even add a temporary fix.

Hi @Andre19uk ,

Here are a couple of steps you can take to address this issue:

1.User Permissions: Verify that all users have the appropriate permissions to view the data in question. Check that the report is set up for RLS.

2.Browser Caching Issues: It's possible that caching in the users' browsers is causing the discrepancy. Ask affected users to clear their browser cache and refresh the Power BI Service to check if the issue persists.

3.Report Rendering: Sometimes, there might be a temporary rendering issue in Power BI Service. You could suggest the affected users to log out of Power BI, close their browser completely, reopen it, and then log back into Power BI Service.

Best Regards,

Neeko Tang
