is the capacity metrics app currently not working? I get this error:
Internal Error: Error obtaining data location. . The exception was raised by the IDbCommand interface.
...and now I got an error in a Warehouse saying I exceeded my capacity, although I did not get any warnings via email (which are activated). Thats quite confusing...

Hi. I'm not really sure what's going on. However I can say that the first thing once you install it is getting at the Semantic model Settings, change the parameters, edit the data source credentials and refresh it. Once you do that, you can start using the App.
If you have done all that, I hope another user mate can help us. Otherwise you might need to contact support.

thanks @ibarrau ! after re-installing the app again I can now see the capacity metrics again!
So I can now see, that I did in fact exceed the capacity today.
It might be a coincident but the app stop working right at the same time I exceeded the capacity.
I really hope thats just a coincident, because that is exactly the moment when you really need the app!!
Also its quite disappointing, that the notifications that I activated in the Admin Portal did not get send.
I double checked if the Emails are set correctly and if the mail ended up in the junk folder - but they just did not trigger for some reason!
I'm glad it's working. Make sure the workspace for Fabric Capacity App is not using any dedicated capacity. Keep it at a shared capacity. My guess is that should make it visible, but I can be wrong because I think that semantic model is a direct query one to who knows whats data hosted where.
