Cannot update app (button greyed out)!

After updating to the new app builder, I can't update the app.

The 'Update app' button is greyed out, no errors or anything - what is going on?

Hi @csk

You can sign out your account and clear broswer cache , then sign in your account . The update app button is not grayed out due to updates, there is currently no such setting .

There is a blog about new features of app , you can refer to it .

This is weird, but, here is what worked for us:

    When first going intothe Workspace, there is a green "Update App" button on the upper right. Click it.

     The next screen has the App name and a Description. (In our case, the Description was many many characters). On the lower right, the "Update App" button is grayed out.

             We shortened the Description to under 200 characters, and the "Update App" button became green. Click it to update the App!

This is not the solution.  Have the same issue and have attempted doing this multiple times in Chrome.  Then tried to log in to Edge, which I never use, and have the same issue.  Seems to have occurred after republishing reports with 'Allow User Personalization' selected.  Was working fine prior.  Please advise; cannot find any other related links to this issue. Thanks!

@csk

I was able to get working by unpublishing the App.  This is NOT deleting the App from the Apps area.  Instead navigate to the Workspace and click on the ellipsis in the upper right and select 'Unpublish App.' I was then able to recreate the App with everything needed.
