I am trying to connect Google BigQuery to Power BI as a data source, however, I am unable to authenticate to my Google Account. First I will receive a script error, "An error has occurred in the script on this page". When I exit out of that screen I receive an error from Google, "You are trying to sign in from a browser or app that doesn't allow us to keep your account secure". Within my Google Account settings I have enabled 'access to less secure apps' but that has not worked. I am trying to use the Google BigQuery connector on Power BI desktop.
Having the same issue. This will only happen on my desktop that has an updated version of PowerBI. On my laptop PowerBI has not been updated for a few months and I was able to successfully sign into Google Big Query with my Google credentials and in addition to that my laptop is running firefox as my default browser. It seems to be an issue with an update that happened in the last couple of months that is the cause fo this issue.
Edit: Laptop is running the June 2019 version (I know but I'm glad I'm running two different versions now) and the desktop is running the September 2019.
Hi @alisonvh ,

I think it is related to your browser.
You could reset your Explorer settings to deafult. The problem was that Power BI tried to open the default browser and could not open it for some reasons.
I tried resetting my Explorer settings to default, unfortantly that did not work. I am trying to make the connection through the PowerBI desktop.
