Cannot open settings for published dataset

Hi,

I have uploaded a dataset to a shared workspace where I have the role of admin. I'm trying to open "settings" for the dataset in order to configure data-source authentication details. However, when I click to open the settings, nothing happens.

I have tried uploading the same dataset to my private "myWorkspace", and there the settings-window opens as expected.

Does anyone have any suggestions on solutions for this problem?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @Anonymous ,

I would check to confirm that the userid I published the file with is the same one I am signed in as in the Service.  There could be a difference there that is keeping you out of settings.

This could also be due to cache in your browser.  You can try clearing your browser and/or trying this in other browsers.

Let us know if that resolves it!

Hi,

Thanks for your answer, unfortunately it did not work. There is another account who is stated as "owner" to the report as I upload it to the service. Could this be why I cannot access the settings?

Hey @Anonymous ,

That could be....I have not normally had that problem as an admin where somebody else is an owner.  You could also make yourself an Owner?  And see if that gives you the rights (which you should have already from being an admin)?
