Cannot import data from excel file to online Power BI

I have created a data model in excel and I want to create a dataset in Power BI (online) and when I try to import data I get the folowing error: We couldn't import data from Excel Workbook and the below technical details.

    Hi cbusila

    I can’t reproduce the issue. Does this happen all the time for all excel files? Please try to connect to other excel files with small size to see if the size of excel and data model caused the issue.

    Also, please try to import the workbook in Power BI Desktop. Then publish onto Power BI Service to see if it works.
