See the attached. This is my problem. My datasources are an internal enterprise data warehouse running on SQL Server and a SharePoint site used to house Excel files that do not live in EDW.
Solved! Go to Solution.
I found the answer.
If I pull in just the EDW tables from SQL Server, I am able to schedule refresh.
If I pull in just the SharePoint tables from SQL Server, I am able to schedule refresh.
When I MERGE tables coming from SQL Server with those coming from SharePoint, I am NOT permitted to use data gateway or schedule a refresh.
When creating a solution in a way that does not require merging of these two tables, I am in good shape.
