Cannot delete a rogue tile that showed up on my dashboard

I have workspace that I created, own and manage. No one but me can add anything to this dashboard.  Everyone with whom I've shared this dashboard has only READ access.

Recently I noticed a "rogue" tile at the bottom of my dashboard that I cannot remove or open. This tile is preventing me from sharing the dashboard.  The only way I can share any of the reports is to open each one individually and share.  I cannot share the entire dashboard.

Here's my "rogue" tile with the message at the top that refers to it:

When I try to open the tile, I get this message:

Capture 63.JPG

If I try to share the dashboard, I get this message:

Capture 64.JPG

I should have ownership to ALL tiles and reports on this Workspace. I'm not sure where this tile came from but I need to get rid of it.  Has anyone seen this before?

P.S.  I have a Premium per-user license and all of my consumers have Power BI Pro licenses.

Yolo Zhu,

  1. There is only 1 workspace, which I created, for this customer.  I am the only Admin for this workspace and the dashboard where the rogue tile appears.
  2. I cannot delete the tile.  See my original post above that shows the error message I get when I click on the tile.  There is no 3-dot "More option" for this tile that you typically see when you add a tile.
  3. I can try to create a new dashboard and add the tiles that are on the broken dashboard, but even if I do that, I won't be able to delete the broken dashboard because this rogue tile is there.

Hi @Roseventura

Here are a few things to try

  1. Whether this dataset of yours is from another workspace and whether you have corresponding permissions on the dataset.
  2. Try to be able to delete the tile.
  3. You can try deleting the dashboard and re-creating it to see if there are still errors.

Best Regards!

Yolo Zhu
