Hi all,
I am trying to connect to a dataset from my premium power bi service workspace using direct query but its giving me this error (image below). But if I try to connect to other datasets that are not linked to the dedicated premium capacity or by disabling the premium capacity, I am able to connect successfully. I want to connect with premium capacity enabled so does anyone know what might be the issue?
Hi, @commonsenseuser
I connected to the data set linked to the dedicated premium capacity and converted it into directquery storage mode, but did not find any error.
If you still have this issue for Power BI, it is suggested to open a support ticket to let engineers look into the issue on your side if you are a pro user.
Best Regards,

Not your dataset - the one you are connecting to.
Can you confirm you have build permissions against the dataset?
Thanks for replying.
How can I check if I have build permissions against the dataset?
By asking the dataset owner to check the permissions.
I have admin access on my email for the report and the dataset.
