Cannot connect to Oracle DB using a dataflow

I am able to connect to my oracle db using power bi desktop and can alspo do data refreshes on power bi service, but when I try to create a dataflow or a datamart then it says invalid credentials, to connect I need to input the server, data gateway, authentication kind, username and password.

For server I am guessing thats just a general name of your choosing, for data gateway it the on premises gateway I normally use, for authentication kind I use basic and for username and password its the sames credentials I use in my power bi desktop files, I use in sql developer and even on power bi service the gateway uses this data source to do data refreshes.

So not sure why it is not connecting.

Ok so the server name is not a general name it is actually very important as it takes the hostname[portname]/SID

it would be nice if microsoft could have made that a bit clearer
