Cannot View Data Model of Report Downloaded from Power BI Service

Hello,

I have Admin access to a workspace and I downloaded a report to Power BI Desktop (.pbix). However, I am unable to see the data model or access Power Query. Why is that?

FYI, this report is using a dataset of a different name. The dataset has multiple reports. The dataset uses a mixed model with some tables using Direct Query to an Azure Hive cluster.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi Anonymous ,

     

    Based on your description, if my undertanding is correct, you have access to the data source but failed to see it , right? 

    Can you kindly share some screenshots around the issue please? This is not helping much.

    Add error screesnhot as well which you are facing.
