I have a dashboard that was created in Power BI service from a dataset imported into the workspace from a sharepoint list. The format of the sharepoint list has now changed and I am unable to refresh the data set due to missing columns. In Power BI desktop I would edit the query code to recognise the new or deleted columns - can something similar be done in Power BI service?

Hi @Minniemish ,
Editing dataset for example the same way as you do in Power Editor is not possible. What you can do (at least in future set ups) you can use advantage od Datamart or Dataflow. Those two services allow you to do some modeling.
Thanks @GilbertQ I've only just realised I can export dashboards created in service back to desktop and edit there 🙂
