Can we use managed identity as an authentication method for connecting power bi  to Azure sql Server

Hi @Anonymous 

 

As far as I'm aware, manage entities can only be used within Azure. Unfortunately, power br is not directly within Azure, so it managed entity cannot be used. Ideally you would use SQL authentication or single sign on to authenticate to your azure SQL Server.
