Can't use Copilot on Power BI
- Anonymous2 years ago
Hi jonhoang
Admins can turn on Copilot for specific security groups, or for their entire organization. Users in those groups can use a preview of Copilot and other features powered by Azure OpenAI.

The workspace has to be running on F64 or Premium capacity, for you to access Copilot for the Power BI service.
You need either read or write access to the workspace that's on F64 or Premium capacity.
If you have limited GPU capacity, Copilot may be throttled.

am having the same issue. Copilot seems to be working in my workspace (eg in notebook) but not in desktop. I am unable to bind a workspace to copilot in desktop as it does not see any workspaces available for this, but I have at least two that are setup to use my paid F64 capacity.

I think I can answer my own question. I only changed the capacity from F8 to F64 this morning. When I create a new workspace, eventhough it shows the F64 capacity under license info in the workspace, the admin portal still shows it as F8. I guess it takes a bit longer to trickle through.
