Can’t switch from DirectQuery to Import mode in datamart
Hi Hugo_Zhuang ,
Thank you for the follow-up and for sharing the screenshots. Currently, Datamarts in Fabric are designed to use DirectQuery mode by default, and switching to Import mode from the dropdown doesn’t actually change the storage mode it’s more of a visual option with no effect at this time. If Import mode is essential for your scenario, please go through the workaround.
In Power BI Desktop. Connect to the Datamart using the SQL endpoint. Choose Import mode during the connection setup. Build your model and publish it as a separate dataset.

Hello v-menakakota ~
This answer is similar to instruction from customer service.
The thing that drop list for storage service in Datamart was available is kind of bug which is report now.
I think we have finished this issue.
