Can't seem to get the semantic_link library installed , No module named "semantic_link". Also, how do you get a semantic model or table from microsoft fabric and import/transfer it into a DataFrame in Fabric?

Hi @js15 Have a look at the semantic-link-labs repository on github.

Use: %pip install semantic-link-labs

and then install the library you require.

Hi @js15,

We appreciate your inquiry through the Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.

The error "No module named 'semantic link'" indicates that the library is either not installed in the environment or is not accessible.

To resolve this issue, please follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Reinstall the semantic link library.
  2. Attempt to import the library again.
  3. Verify if the library is imported without errors. If the issue persists, kindly recheck the pip configuration.

Additionally, please refer to the following documentation links for further guidance:

What is semantic link? - Microsoft Fabric | Microsoft Learn
Read data from semantic models and write data that semantic models can consume using Spark - Microso...
Read data from semantic models and write data that semantic models can consume using python - Micros...
