Can't export underlying data!

Hey,

I have an issue with extracting underlying data, it was enabled before, but now it only gives me the option to export the summarized data and not the underlying one. I researched a lot and everything seems fine to me in my settings. please help.

Hi @salafoo 

You need to enable build permissions on the dataset for the users who need to extract the underlying data.

Hi @salafoo,

I assume you already had a look at the Power BI Tenant settings for Export Data and Export to Excel?

Also have a look at the limitations and considerations:

Export using Underlying data won't work if:

• the version is older than 2016.

• the tables in the model don't have a unique key.

• an administrator or report designer has disabled this feature.
