you need to also grant build permission in the same way.
What worked for me was creating a redundant table in the data tab. Here are the steps I followed:
- Go to the Data tab in Power BI Desktop.
- Click the New Table icon.
- Select the data source table or model which the visual with an error is fetching data from
- Click OK.
- This will create a replica of the table,
Once the redundant table has been created, you can use it in your visuals instead of the original direct query table.
