Hi, I create a publish a power bi report from Desktop to one workspace. From that very Workspace, I save the content as a copy to the other two Workspace. Now I have deleted the content in other two workspaces but for some reason they came back again every time I refresh the webpage.
I even unpublished the whole app, exclude it from the app then delete it again, same thing happen. Is it kind of a bug?
PS, I keep 3 duplicate report in 3 workspace and the dataset is in one workspace. This obviously more efficienct to update the content when I publish the app from Desktop. Intead of publish to 3 workspace, i only need to publish to 1.
Any help?
Hi @gavin007
Have you ever try clearing the cache of your browser? What type of workspace is the report published to? If it is a classic workspace, did you create content pack and the other two workspaces installed the content pack? And you can check whether these reports are used to create app or template app by viewing Lineage.

I assume it is NOT the classic workspace as I don't see any other to change to classic workspace.
I also clear the broweser cache and it is the same. I use Edge and Chrome which is the same.
The report I tried to delete is not included in app or template. The way I created it in the first place is to publish to a workspace first, then save the content as a copy to another workspace. The the copy in the other workspace need to be deleted.
The other insteresting finding is when I made change in Desktop and republish the new report to service, It said 4 workspace and 6 reports to be replaced. I actually has 3 workspaces and 4 reports to be upated. Not only that, after I publish the all the apps in service, the other two apps which are derived from the copied contents are not updated at all. Looks like this is a ghost report.
Hi @gavin007
It should be a server-side problem. I would like you to open a support ticket and get help from Power BI support.

It is worth mentioning that the dataset has been used to direct query as Power BI dataset in other report, So I will be reluctant to have a clean sheet by deleting the dataset and content in the original workspace.
