Hi,
I'm trying to explore the new dataflow feature of PBI Service to import a simple csv file.
These are the credentials I'm using, but it is returning the error "invalid credentials", why?
Hi @webportal,
1. Since it's a Windows authentication, please check if your account has enough permission.
2. One DataFlow can only use one Gateway. Please don't change the gateway when you add more entities.
Best Regards,
Dale
Hi @webportal,
I did it like below successfully. Please check out.
1. Can you add other files in other folders?
2. What's the file path? At least share the format.
Note: though the file is in OneDrive, it also has a copy locally.
Best Regards,
Dale
Same result here.
Tried using my windows and my Power BI user/password but no luck:
If you are trying to connect to a file in OneDrive you need to use its web address (not the file path in your PC) and then enter your credentials under the type Organizational Account.
it doesn't work for me either
Any solution here?
Hi @Anonymous
The only solution I've found was to connect to a OneDrive file.
It doesn't seem to work with files in Sharepoint Online.
Hi @webportal,
Please check out the data gateway if there is any gateway been created automatically. If there is an error message like below, please share it with me.
I would also suggest you file support ticket here. It's a weird issue.
Best Regards,
Dale
