Hi,
I have a problem to connect my PBI gateway to a data source I checked around and try a few solutions with no success.
I have 2 servers in the cloud. one is Debian 9 with MySQL database and the other one is windows server 2016. I have installed the gateway on the windows server but when I try to connect to the MySQL database I'm getting an error "we could not register this data source for any gateway instances within this cluster" I was able to connect with ODBC to my PBI desktop that I install on this server so connection can be established.
I tried to connect to SQL server MySQL ODBC. all gave me the same error.
Thank you,
Chaima

@chaima Maybe you can raise a support tickte and troubleshoot the issue, directly with Microsoft.
Already did. they escalate it to the dev team.
I was able to connect the power bi with personal getaway but not with the enterprise gateway.
Hope to hear from the support soon.
Thank you.
did you solve this finally? Happened to my dataset as well
