Can't Authenticate with credentials provided after email domain changed
Hello.
We are having problems connecting to sharepoint folders in power bi desktop and service after our emails domain was changed from .pt to .com.
We received the following errors after trying to connect to sharepoint with the new credentials. We have already updated them in data source settings in desktop and service.
Not all reports fail. The same path fails in one and not in other with same credentials.
When we create a new report in pbi desktop we are able to connect. But can't connect in some of the reports we already had.
Has anyone else been through this?
Thanks in advance.

Hi filiparibeiro ,
Being able to connect successfully means the credentials are correct, but partially fails, so I think some of the files still have authentication caches and the second screenshot suggests that the credentials provided earlier are invalid. Please clear all permission on desktop.
Please feel free to correct me and provide more information if I have misunderstood you!
Hope it helps!

Hello Anonymous.
Thanks for your response.
Just found out more info.
Since my email domain changed in the company that sharepoint contents in power query does not work (it worked just fine previously). Sharpoint files works. Is there anything I could change in sharepoint so sharepoint contents works again?
I have several reports and was trying to avoid having to change the source code in power query in all of them. - AnonymousNot applicable
Hi filiparibeiro ,
Then you can go into power query and update the permission on the connected sharepoint file.If not, I suggest you backup the M language in advanced editor, reconnect it, and replace the source part (as long as there is no metadata change).
Hope it helps!
