Hi everyone,
On multiple occasion dataflows cannot be saved because of the below error:
"Linked tables can't be modified. Please undo any changes made to the following linked tables and try again"
We have Power BI Premium and it worked just fine before. Since a couple of weeks we're getting these errors and this means we cannot save our dataflows. Of course we know about the workaround to disable a query for load and then reference it, but we have multiple queries in 1 dataflow and multiple dataflows, so this would mean A LOT of unnecessary extra work.
Seems like a bug to me, but cannot find any other users/members having issues with this.
Who can help / knows the solution?
Thanks in advance!
Best Regards,
Rob van Zutphen
Hi, @Anonymous ;
Please check the Limitations and Considerations of linked entities to see if this is the cause.
There is a similar case reported in Issue forum you may refer to : Unable to save a dataflow . Or you may update the on premise data gateway to the latest version to avoid potential issue.
