Can not pin a pivot chart from excel to a dashboard

Hi,

I have a current Dashboard that has tiles pinned from a report, but I also have data from excel that I have imported into Bi service workspace and when I try to pin the pivot chart into the dashboard it provides this message below.

But it also will not let me select the chart itself?

Is there something I should do differently? As other standard excel charts have pinned to the Dashboard from excel.

Hi @HEW1 ,

You can upload your  pivot table to PowerBI Service   "Workbooks", then select the Entire PivotChart. When pinning, ensure you select the entire PivotChart, including any associated filters and slicers. After selecting the PivotChart, click the pin icon. You should be able to pin it to an existing dashboard or create a new one.
