Can data reside only in Data Flow (CDM) like direct query mode?

Can data reside only in Data Flow (CDM) like direct query mode. Here what I mean is that I don’t want to pull the underlying data in PowerBI service, I directly want to query on Data-Flow. Reason; don’t want to duplicate the data at 2 places.

Hi @Anonymous,

The dataflows functionality is in preview, such a requirement is not supported by now. Someone has submitted this idea here, and it is under review which might be added in the future release.
