Can a Report access a secure Dataset in a completely different workspace?

Hi,

I am hoping this is the right forum for this question.

I am presenting data to clients through Power BI. Due to the way the client wants to use the data they have requested the report is kept in their premium workspace to be able to pin out visual metrics to their various dashboards, however I would like to keep hold of and control of the data sets in our own Sharepoint. Due to the  multiple data sources we have and way we create or manipulate the data it is important to me that the client cannot download or analyse the PBIX file at their end, only see the report.

Is it possible for the report to be used in this way?

Hi @Anonymous ,

Would you please change all the accounts for client from member role to viewer. Then they can't download pbix any more.
