We're trialling Premium Per User and discovered that doing so resulted in all our users losing access to reports
We have our "golden datesets" in a dedicated data workspace, and reports built off them are in other workspaces
As part of the trial, we upgraded just the data workspace to premium - our users stayed on the Pro license
Seems like it's not possible to have Pro users access reports hosted in a regular workspace if the dataset serving the reports is hosted in a Premium workspace
Is that correct? Doesn't that diminish the point of the "per user" proposition?

Hi @Anonymous
I upgarde my workspace to Premium capacity in worksapce setting.
It tells me that only people who have Premium per user licenses will be able to access this workspace if I make this change.
And my workspace member who don't have Premium per user license doesn't have permission to read my report.
You may need to remove your workspace from premium capacity in workspace setting to share it with user who only have pro license.
Or the members in your workspace can try premium per user free for 60 days by click try free.

My understanding is that "Premium per user" requires all users to have a Pro license. "Regular" Premium does not require end users to have a Pro license (that's kinda the USP of Premium). I don't think you can mix the two concepts, it is either/or.
