Can One report with 3 data sources have 3 possible gateway connections?

So far, I found answers dated a long time ago in 2017, 2019 that a PowerBI report can only be scheduled to refresh when connected to 1 gateway.
I have a report that uses 3 data sources from 3 servers thus needs to 3 possible gateway connections.

Q:  Is this supported in 2021?

Q:  If not supported what are the possible options to get data refreshed from the other 2 gateways when the report itself can only refresh data on 1 gateway?

I am thinking to
(1) write Report1 with GateWay1 connection scheduled to refresh at Time1 daily dumping the data to ServerX.
(2) write Report 2 with GateWay2 connection scheduled to refresh at Time 2 daily dumping the data to Server X.
(3)  now my report that needs data from GateWay3 connection can run at Time3 pulling data on ServerX which also has data from Gateway2 and Gateway1 dumped previously.
It is a long winding kludge approach.
Thank you very much in advance!

Yes, you can have multile datasources in one report, just make sure all the data sources (1,2,3,...) are registered under same gateway

If it is not possible to register all source under same gateway then I would suggest to create dataflows for each source and use that dataflow as a source for your dataset. also you can schedule different dataflow at different time.
