Can I set up a PostDataset API in PowerBI Service?

Hello,

I am scoping the possibilty of POSTing data to the Dataset endpoint of the PowerBI Rest APIs. I know that this is possible for PowerBI Desktop, but is this also possible for getting data into PowerBI Service?

That API call is only applicable for the service.

Apologies, I wrote this wrong, I meant it I know it is available for Service!

Is there a similar way to Push a dataset to Power BI Desktop? Ideally, I would set this up not for my organization but on behalf of my customers.
