Hi Everyone,
Is it possible to get data from Power BI dataflows and SharePoint (list/folder), and schedule a refresh using a generic ID instead of our own user ID?
Thank you for your help!
@Anonymous , refer if this can help
@amitchandak thanks for sharing the links, but I think it is only for the SharePoint server(?) and not for SharePoint Online. Thank you!
@Anonymous - Yes, that should be possible to use something like a service account, sure.
@Greg_Deckler does it require to have a license (e.g. O365 license) to work?
Our generic ID is now windows authenticated and it already has access to one of our SharePoint, but the connection does not work. Do you know some documentation regarding this?
Thank you!
@Anonymous Huh, service accounts don't generally need licenses but might actually here for publishing purposes. Yeah, I think they do. Can't believe I don't know that off the top of my head. Because they are publishing to a workspace. I hate licensing questions. 😕
